Now into its fourth generation, Daiwa’s TD BLACK IV range is designed in NZ and developed specifically and solely for our local fishing needs. With 11 models catering to everything from softbaiting for snapper, throwing stickbaits for kingfish, through to chasing down XOS canal monsters.

A HVF Nanoplus blank equipped with X45X Full Shield technology produces lightweight, crisp and responsive actions that feel great in the hand. The high-modulus HVF graphite, combines with Nanoplus resin technology to reduce the overall weight of the rods. Outfitted with Fuji Alconite anti-tangle guides and Daiwa exclusive AIRSENSOR reel seats for optimum comfort and balance.

This is the go-to, bread & butter inshore softbait rod and one of our favourite blank profiles.

The Supercasta is a medium/heavy inshore/offshore softbait and general purpose spin rod that will cover a few bases for you.

Mainly intended as a light stickbait/lure rod the Slugger will also be a great livebaiting option teamed up with a Free Swimmer 10000.
