Specifically designed for slider/kabura/slow jig techniques using Kohga Bayrubber Free and Kohga Blade Breaker lures and built with advanced technology and meticulous craftsmanship, this rod offers unmatched sensitivity and power - making it perfect for targeting snapper all over NZ, along with a long list of welcome by-catch.

These two piece rods achieve a perfect balance between a flexible tip, which easily encourages bites, and a powerful butt section capable of handling large snapper with confidence. Special attention was also given to the rod's bottom contact sensitivity, enabling a "touch-and-go" fishing technique with minimal time lag—an essential method for snapper fishing with sliders.

The 25 Kohga X is equipped with a lightweight reel seat which allows for comfortable palming and reeling, no matter how the rod and reel are held or the size of the angler's hands.
