Meet The Crew | Navare Taylor

Bio/Background

I'm based in the Bay of Plenty with my wife and two daughters. I am lucky enough to be the Creative & Marketing Manager for Lower Clothing I also help Jake run Lo-Cab International. I fished through my younger years, but didn't start fishing properly until my mid-twenties. Lucky for me I had some good friends that taught me the ropes quickly; Shout out to Aidan & Tumz.

Specialty and Favourite Types of Fishing

As much as I love topwater fishing, softbaiting for snapper makes me tick the most. I think it's the best form of fishing in NZ. Shallows throughout the morning, then I like to move a little deeper later in the day.

Most Memorable Catch

Some of the C-team boys were lucky enough to fish Aitutaki last October. After some tough days on the reef, watching the boys catch and lose some nice fish I thought the dream was going to elude me. I managed to have a good scrap and land a GT with the lads there for some moral support, that's going to be a pretty hard moment to beat!

Daiwa Essentials

I've always loved the TD Sol range of reels; they have always performed when I needed them to. I am currently equipped with the TD Sol HD 4000. I also love the new TD Black IV rodrange.
