Bio/Background?

I've been on and around the ocean since I was about a month old. Hence my passion for the outdoors has started young! Originally growing up in South Auckland on the Manukau harbour and Waikato river, we made the move to the Far North when I was around 10. Since then my passion for the outdoors and the ocean has exploded. I have now started a Youtube channel and am currently showcasing my journey through there which is allowing me to be out there most days now!

Fishing area of speciality/favourite type of fishing?

I grew up as a ledger rig fisherman but I have now got into a bit more of the new school techniques. I love softbaiting in the wash but still love a big old strayline session!

Most Memorable Catch?

Honestly I can't recall one specific moment as I've had so many insane adventures but a recent one we was and good mate, Muzz, caught a few good Hapuka in 45m, not expecting them to be this shallow it was a moment of excitement! It was epic!

What Are Your Daiwa Essentials?

Definitely my Saltiga 4000 for softbaiting matched with a TD Black Wash Game. This is a heavy softbaiting set which I like! Also good for throwing small stick baits around.
